The Old Man Of Storr
The ‘Old Man’ is a large pinnacle of rock and is part of the Trotternish ridge, formed from an ancient landslide.
After a lengthy hike up to find the ideal vantage point this was taken from approximately 700 metres above sea level, and involved many trips to ‘The Cloudy Isle’ until conditions were perfect.
The resulting image offers views over Loch Leathan, then across the sea to the Islands of Raasay and Rona and beyond that the mainland.
Offered as a limited edition print on fine art paper in the following sizes.
